Why Didn’t He Call?

When a woman gives the man that she likes her phone number, she might find herself anxiously waiting for his call. Every time the phone rings she rushes to the phone then pauses, takes a deep breath, raises her hands to smooth her hair (as if the speaker on the other end of the phone will see), and then picks up the phone with full expectancy only to find that it isn’t her crush. The scenario repeats, until finally, the woman realizes that he isn’t going to call. She is then left to wonder what went wrong and ponders the numerous reasons why he didn’t call her. There are many reasons why a man won’t call a woman, however it can be very troublesome when a woman feels that she and a man have made a connection, yet he never calls.

The first fact that you must realize is that he didn’t call you. This means that he isn’t interested and his lack of dialing skills is not an open invitation to call him. Though it might puzzle your brain, drive you batty, and even hurt your feelings don’t let it affect your self-confidence. If a man is interested, he will call you, if he doesn’t than he isn’t serious about initiating a relationship with you. It’s best to find out early, before you’ve invested too much energy in the relationship. When he doesn’t call, you can rest assured that he simply isn’t in to you.

When a man meets a woman at a party or bar and asks for her number, then never calls, the woman is left going over every scenario that occurred trying to figure out what went wrong. Stop! Save your energy, it isn’t worth it. Focus your energy on the guys that do call. One thing that you must realize is that some men simply want to see how many women’s phone numbers they can get, however they are not ready for the next step. He may have been a great flirt, won you over with boyish charm, and left you hanging from his every word like a fish dangling from a freshly baited line, but the fact is he hasn’t called. You can’t read anything into it and you must accept it for what it is. If he was interested in you, and worth considering as a potential partner, he would at least call you. Don’t make excuses for him; don’t wonder if he used pencil instead of ink when he wrote your number down then folded the paper up into a little square that rubbed your numbers into oblivion. The truth is it really doesn’t matter why he didn’t call, but the realization that if your number was important to him, and if he sincerely wanted to call, he would have. But don’t despair in fact you should be relieved. Now you can spend your time focusing on those guys who are interested in you and will call.
